Codere Online has named industry newcomer Marcus Arildsson as the Spain- and Latam-facing operator’s new CFO.

Arildsson joins the business from Millenium Hospitality Real Estate where he served as CFO since December 2023.

The new finance chief also served as CFO at retail media firm Ladorian and has held executive roles

Arildsson’s arrival comes after current CFO Oscar Iglesias announced he would step down from the position in September.

Iglesias will remain on hand as part of a transition process, before stepping up to the Codere Online board on 1 December.

Speaking on his new role, Arildsson said: “I’m thrilled to join Codere Online, a company that has demonstrated outstanding execution and discipline since becoming public.

“Its success reflects a strong team and clear vision and I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of that journey.”
