Hard Rock Bet has launched “games powered by past motor racing” in Florida, a new series  with a slot-facing design powered by historical motor racing results.

As first reported by CasinoReports, the games lobby currently includes 21 titles, all with a minimum bet of $1.

Currently they are only accessible to a select group of Hard Rock Florida Bet customers.

While the titles look and feel like slots games, they are instead powered by the results of historical motor races, in a similar vein to historical horseracing games.

Players can view the actual results that determine the in-game outcomes after making their wagers.

This model is different from the traditional random number generator-based slots, the company has noted.

An FAQ post from Hard Rock reads: “Games powered by past motor races is a form of sports betting available in Florida where a player wagers on the outcomes of real past motor races as authorised by the 2021 Compact with the State of Florida.

“The outcomes of those wagers are shown to the player using entertaining video depictions.”

Players will select the finishing order drivers, with payouts determined by the successful selection of finishing order and the probabilities of the drivers selected to finish in those orders.

The 2021 Gaming Compact between the State of Florida and Hard Rock’s owners, the Seminole tribe, permits bets on past sporting events.

Hard Rock holds an online sports betting monopoly in Florida. However, online casino remains illegal in the Sunshine State.

In other Hard Rock news this week, the operator announced the launch of its fall campaign for Hard Rock Bet Casino.
