Jonas Groes has been named co-CEO of EveryMatrix alongside his brother and the company’s co-founder, Ebbe Groes.

Groes joins from EY (Ernst & Young), where he has served as a partner in the firm’s Nordic Consulting practice since 2016.

Previously, he was a director at the ‘Big Four’ firm for two years, working out of the Danish office.

The new co-CEO has served as a long-time adviser to EveryMatrix and will now take on a full-time position with the privately owned firm.

The appointment will take effect on 1 January 2026 and be based in Copenhagen, where EveryMatrix has recently opened an office.

Ebbe Groes has served as the business’ CEO since its foundation back in 2008. 

The supplier has enjoyed notable growth in 2025, reporting 39% Q1 revenue growth in May and opening a London office in April.

Ebbe Groes said: “As the company’s growth continues, tripling our headcount in the last five years, and as we work with more of the largest gaming brands and lotteries, I needed to find someone who knows what it takes to scale a business and reach the ambitious targets we have for the next five years.

“Doing this means I will have more time to work on strategy and execute all the things we want to do to become a global top three tier-one technology provider by 2030.

“To share a CEO position requires complete trust at both a personal and professional level. Jonas is the perfect candidate and I know he will go on to do amazing things at EveryMatrix.”
