As the Ligue 1 TOTS squad is set to be revealed later this week on FIFA 23, a leak has emerged revealing several of the footballers included. 



The much-awaited Team of the Season (TOTS) promotion has been in full swing for a few weeks, featuring the La Liga TOTS and the MLS TOTS squad currently available in packs. 



In preparation for the release of each major league’s TOTS, players were given the chance to have a say in selecting the squad members. However, there won’t be a public vote for the Ligue 1 TOTS this time around. 



As a result, speculation has run rampant regarding the footballers who will secure a spot, with a few leaks having surfaced and allegedly revealing several big names to be included. 



Not many players set to feature in the Ligue 1 TOTS have been revealed so far, although some claim the star-studded Paris Saint-Germain duo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, have made the cut.



In addition, other leaks indicate that PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar will receive special TOTS Flashback items, which will be released as Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). 



Interestingly, despite Aouar’s in-game representation as French, his Flashback TOTS nationality is set to switch to Algerian. This alteration stems from his decision to switch his international allegiance earlier this year.

As usual, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt, as EA hasn’t confirmed any of it yet.



The Ligue 1 TOTS squad will be released in Ultimate Team on Friday, May 26 at 6pm BST.
