When IRL Twitch streamer CookSux called out a group of friends for littering in New York, they didn’t take it too kindly.
Streaming live on Twitch can capture unforeseen moments on camera, but the stakes are even higher for IRL streamers who venture into the great outdoors in pursuit of captivating content.
Not long ago a streamer’s IRL broadcast got hijacked by a drunk beachgoer who was relentless in flashing her breasts on camera – nudity is strictly forbidden on Twitch.
Now another IRL streamer got into hot water with some random people after catching them shamelessly trashing the streets of New York City.
While taking a late night walk, CookSux stumbled upon a group of friends stopped at a red light. To his surprise, while sitting in their car, these folks swung open the door and dumped a pile of trash onto the street, completely disregarding the pedestrians in the vicinity.
With hundreds of viewers watching his stream, CookSux made the bold decision to confront the strangers about their littering, perhaps hoping they would acknowledge their error and tidy up the mess.
Unsurprisingly, the group didn’t take the streamer’s suggestion well and responded by hurling even more trash at him while issuing threats.
‘You want me to hop out of the vehicle right now?,’ one of the men from the group said, clearly itching for a fight.
CookSux tried to stay calm in response to the man’s intimidating behaviour and proceeded to explain that his intention was to understand why they were littering.
This seemed to anger the man even more and he started counting down, threatening to jump out of the car again.
‘Hold on a second. Are you threatening me right now?,’ CookSux asked.
Appearing very annoyed, the group slammed the door of their vehicle and sped away, but not before flinging a bunch of plastic bottles in the direction of the Twitch streamer.
Luckily, none of the trash hit CookSux, but he was left dumbfounded by the peculiar turn of events.
