If you want to get your hands on some exclusive Pokémon merchandise you need to book a reservation for the Pokémon Center pronto.
London ’s about to be flooded in Pokémon merch once again, as the Pokémon Europe International Championships are taking place next weekend.
Competitors and spectators alike will be attending for the various gaming tournaments, which include Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and Pokémon Go .
However, it’s also an excuse to indulge in some Pokémon merchandise since the pop-up Pokémon Center is making its return and reservations are now open.
While the UK does have a dedicated Pokémon Center nowadays for themed clothing, plush toys, and other such paraphernalia, it’s only an online store.
The pop-up store is a rare occasion for London Pokémon fans to purchase merchandise in person, as well as a chance to mingle with each other.
As such, it’s very popular – to the point where people can be left queueing all day just to get in. In 2019 , the center even had to shorten its opening times and limit how many items people could buy since it kept selling out of stock.
Obviously expecting another high turnout, The Pokémon Company has informed prospective visitors that they must book a reservation beforehand; you can’t just queue up and hope you’ll get in.
What’s more, you can only book a party of up to four people. We feel sorry for any five-person families.
