We’re less than two months from the new Zelda’s launch and Nintendo i s preparing to unleash a 10 minute gameplay trailer.

There have already been a few trailers for The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom , but they’ve really only given the briefest of glimpses at its gameplay.

Aside from it being a continuation of Breath Of The Wild , and letting you explore a land above the clouds, fans know very little about its story, structure, or new gameplay mechanics.

With the game just a couple of months away from launch, it looks like Nintendo is finally ready to lift the lid and actually explain some things, with a 10 minute gameplay demonstration.

Technically, this isn’t called a Nintendo Direct, but the showcase will air tomorrow afternoon on Tuesday, March 28 at 3pm BST.

Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma himself will be hosting the showcase, which hopefully means he’ll be providing commentary and go into a bit more detail on any new mechanics that are shown off.

Perhaps this will include some clarification on comments he made not too long ago, about players being able to ‘ bring about changes to the game world ’ and exploring Hyrule in an ‘unknown state.’

This sparked speculation that Nintendo’s hiding some kind of terraforming mechanic that’ll let you physically alter the world around you, but it’s also more than possible that something was lost in translation.

Barring that, there are plenty of key pieces of information that have yet to be thoroughly explained. How will you travel between Hyrule and the sky above? Will it be a seamless transition? What’s the deal with Link’s weird arm? Is Zelda actually playable this time?

Eager fans have scoured the trailers frame by frame to try and unearth any information. Thanks to that, we know its graphics have been improved , compared to Breath Of The Wild, and a few classic enemies from previous games are poised to return.

Nintendo’s website has also given away that there’ll be DLC down the line and the artbook that comes with the collector’s edition somehow leaked, although it didn’t appear to contain any major spoilers.

We don’t expect to Nintendo to play its entire hand just yet, but 10 minutes is more than enough time to provide some clarification on key elements and mechanics.

It also goes without saying that you shouldn’t expect any other announcements or reveals during the showcase. Nintendo isn’t going to shadowdrop those Twilight Princess/Wind Waker Nintendo Switch ports that keep being rumoured. Or is it?
