You won’t have to wait much longer to jump into the magical world of Hogwarts Legacy but its release date is a bit complicated.
Given that Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated Harry Potter games ever, many fans can’t wait any longer to start casting spells and making potions.
Almost 10 years after the release of Deathly Hallows Part 2, Hogwarts Legacy will tell a new story, even though it’s set in the old days of Hogwarts.
The game won’t be launching on every platform at once , so don’t worry if you’re not exactly sure when you can start your wizarding escapades…
The standard edition of the game will officially unlock on Friday, February 10, for next gen console and PC players.
However, if you’ve splurged and bought yourself the deluxe edition of the game, you’ll be able to start your journey three days earlier, on Tuesday, February 7.
The game’s official Twitter account has confirmed that the release will happen at midnight local time, around the world, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

This means that as soon as the clock strikes 12am in the UK on February 7, you’ll be free to explore the world’s greatest wizarding school.
Regarding PC players, Hogwarts Legacy’s early access period will begin a bit later the same day, around 6pm in the UK.
You could also attempt to do the New Zealand trick, by setting your account to the country’s timezone and getting it a few hours earlier – but that’s really only for the hardcore fans.
