The Dead Space remake is no longer the UK number one, but rather than anything new it’s been replaced by FIFA 23 and God Of War Ragnarök.



Traditionally, February isn’t usually a busy month for new video games but ever since the pandemic the norms of the industry have been turned on their head. This week, for example, sees the launch of Hogwarts Legacy , which will inevitability be next week’s new number one – even as this week FIFA 23 moves up to reclaim that spot.



FIFA 23 and God Of War Ragnarök both saw an increase in sales this week, the latter due to a new hardware bundle, while the highest new entry of the week was SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake at number 10.



Last week Forspoken didn’t seem to do too badly, with its debut at number four, but its bad word of mouth has finally caught up with it and it fell all the way to number 20 in its second week.
