Players loved this IRL version of Grusha’s scarf so much, they suggested Pokémon Scarlet and Violet should start selling it as official merch. 



It’s not unusual for Pokémon fans to show their dedication to the franchise by recreating items, trinkets, or even snacks that they’ve seen in the games. 



Not long ago a player made an IRL version of a sandwich from Scarlet and Violet , after seeing it in-game made their stomach rumble.  



Now, another player decided to show off their knitting skills by recreating one of the staple accessories of a tough gym leader in Scarlet and Violet . 



That’s none other than Glaseado gym leader Grusha, who’s always seen rocking an oversized, blue and pink scarf. 



As Grusha hangs around snowy Glaseado Mountain, he’s seen sporting a warm and comfy look to deal with the ice cold weather. 



As soon as player Neko_shii saw Grusha’s scarf, they knew they had to put their knitting skills to use and add this accessory to their wardrobe. 



In a Reddit post , they showed off the pink and blue scarf, complete with a Poké ball hanging on one of the ends.

As soon as fellow Scarlet and Violet fans saw the item, they left numerous compliments and suggested that it should be sold as official Pokémon merchandise.  



Instantly players asked Neko_shii if they followed a crochet pattern, to which they answered that they just copied the design of Grusha’s scarf and only used a pattern for the Poké ball. 



Crocheting and knitting is a popular hobby among Pokémon fans, as many have also made IRL plushies of their favourite creatures, such as adorable Eevee and all its Eeveelutions . 



The same goes for baking, as one player recently made some delicious looking tarts resembling vine-like creature Tangela – also known as Tart-gelas.
