Call Of Duty: first looks at Rambo and John McClane leak online

Here’s the obligatory ‘Welcome to the party, pal’ comment (Pic: Activision)

The teasers already gave it away, but Activision has outright confirmed that Rambo and John McClane will appear in Call Of Duty: Warzone.

Activision has recently been hinting at the inclusions of Rambo and Die Hard ’s John McClane in Call Of Duty: Warzone. Now, the company has confirmed that the two will be appearing as part of something (probably an event) it’s calling 80s Action Heroes.

Judging by the promotional art, this event looks to encompass not just Warzone, but also Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call Of Duty: Mobile, which probably means that all three games will feature the two cameo characters as playable operators.

The announcement doesn’t reveal much else aside from a May 20 date, which will no doubt be when Rambo and McClane will be added.

In-game images of the two characters appear to have already leaked online, apparently from Black Ops Cold War.

Rambo and McClane retain their likenesses of Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis respectively, although something about them doesn’t look quite right.

McClane’s head and neck almost look like they’ve been stretched out and both characters seem somewhat slimmer than how they appeared in their movies, especially Rambo.

Some fans on social media aren’t particularly impressed either, with one making a direct comparison to Rambo’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 .

It’s also not known whether their respective actors have come back to voice any new lines for them. Considering Stallone reprised his role as Rambo in the aforementioned Mortal Kombat 11, it’s probably safe to assume he has done the same for Call Of Duty.
