After having repeatedly defended Fortnite in the past, Ninja has grown increasingly frustrated with the game, particularly the new map.

Fortnite is undeniably one of the most popular games on the planet. Last month, Epic Games revealed that it had accrued at least 350 million players .

But when you reach that level of popularity, it means there are more people to disappoint and upset. Over the last few months, Fortnite has been subjected to numerous criticisms from a large amount of its player-base.

Now, even Ninja has spoken up about his issues with the game that propelled him to stardom in the first place.

In a recent stream of his, as reported on by Dexerto , the Fortnite pro explained how he is not a fan of the new map the game introduced with Fortnite Season 2: Chapter 1, because it has disrupted the flow of matches and caused an imbalance between mobility and map size.

‘So many people were being held in the storm because the zone was moving so fast and the map was so big and there was no rotation… and their fix to that was to make it like a four and a half minute storm circle close… all that does is just draw this sh*t out. Haven’t seen or heard a shot in like five minutes.’

He went on to comment on how much he missed the old map, but he admitted that it will likely never come back.

‘I miss the old POIs so much. I miss Tilted, I miss Paradise, I miss OG Risky Reels. I miss Lazy Lagoon… The old map is not coming back, I just miss it.’

This isn’t even his first complaint about the game, as he has previously complained about stream snipers and requested that a feature be implemented to ban them.

Between this, the lack of any patch notes, and how long seasons have lasted, Fortnite’s success hasn’t shielded it from players’ gripes and complaints.

Chapter 2: Season 2 is gradually reaching its conclusion, with it set to end on 4 June. But whether Season 3 will address these complaints or not remains to be seen.

Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
