New York Knicks Want to End the Series Quickly



The New York Knicks finished the regular season of the 2023-24 NBA in the No. 2 place in the Eastern Conference. Their record was 52-30 with a win in each of the final five rounds. Then, in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, they beat the Philadelphia 76ers in the first two games of the series.

In the first game, they beat the ‘Sixers 111-104, with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart scoring 22 points, followed by Miles McBride with 21. Further, another five players scored between 6 and 13 points each.



In the second game of the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers series, they won 104-10. Brunson scored 24 points, Hart 21, with another six players getting on the scoresheet.



Philadelphia 76ers Praying for Joel Embiid Magic in Game 3



Joel Embiid is Philadelphia’s best player who missed a number of games during the regular season due to an injury. There was an injury scare in the first game of the series, but he turned out okay in the end. In the first game, he scored 29 points, while in Game 2, we saw the Cameroonian score 34 points.

Those are great numbers, but we know that this guy can do even better. Embiid is a guy who scored a record-breaking 70 points back in January.



His colleague Tyrese Maxey also did very well in both of those games, scoring 33 and 35 points respectively. Unfortunately for Philly, apart from Embiid and Maxey, no other 76er impressed in the first two games of the series.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have their fans to cheer them on in Game 3, which should give a major boost to their players. We expect all of them to up their game, with Embiid being the one to lead the way scoring-wise. We’re almost certain he’s going to score 30+ points on Thursday, which should help Philadelphia win its first game of the series.
