A Twitch streamer has beaten Elden Ring using nothing but Morse code, but Elon Musk wasn’t all that impressed, prompting the comeback of the year.

When he’s not overseeing his business empire, and laying off 10% of his workforce, Elon Musk likes to play video games , and has often spoken about his enjoyment of Elden Ring and Diablo.

He also likes people to know he likes video games, and last year claimed that he used to be one of the top Quake players in the world. Although the actual best Quake player knocked him down a peg, saying Musk ‘wasn’t very good’ .

He seems to have an inflated opinion of his own Elden Ring skills too, after trying to mock a Twitch streamer who beat the infamously difficult game using nothing but Morse code .

After months of trying, streamer Silithur finally beat Elden Ring using a pad with a single button on it, which he used to control his character with Morse code.

The impressive clip of him beating the final boss, the Elden Beast, found its way to Musk on Twitter, but the latter somehow wasn’t that impressed.

‘The final battle is beautiful, but easy. Try that with Malenia,’ Musk replied.

Silithur hit back, adding a clip of him beating Malenia using Morse code, and said: ‘Well… easy because I’m so good at this game you mean?’

As a result of Musk’s unprovoked dig, fans of Silithur also joined the discussion, defending his achievement.

Why Musk felt the need to put down such an achievement, only he knows. But Silithur’s reply with the video of him beating Malenia gained 53,000 likes to Musk’s 4,400 likes.

That means Silithur can celebrate two wins this week: beating Elden Ring using Morse code, and sticking it to one of the most powerful people in the world.
