High Roller has named former PointsBet exec Seth Young as its new CEO, with current boss Ben Clemes due to step down.

Young joined the VIP-focused operator earlier this year as chief strategy officer and will become CEO on 1 September.

High Roller, which runs the High Roller and Fruta brands, said Clemes was stepping down to spend more time with his family.

Clemes became High Roller CEO in January 2024. He previously spent a decade with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) across a series of roles, including as chief commercial officer and North America GM.

During his time in the hot seat, Clemes oversaw High Roller’s public listing in October 2024.

The company was notified by the NYSE American in July 2025 that it was not in compliance with its listing. The operator regained compliance earlier this month.

Young was named as chief strategy officer in April to support the operator’s growth.

He previously served as chief innovation officer at PointsBet, was a founding partner of GMA Consulting and is currently a board member for Kinectify, Kindbridge Behavioural Health and EQL Games.

Clemes added: “It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as High Roller’s CEO, and my decision to step away comes at a time when the company is healthy.

“I’m proud of what we have accomplished together and I’m confident that Seth is the right leader to guide High Roller forward. I’m looking forward to focusing more on my family while knowing the business is in strong hands.”
